Freeze Warning
Statement as of 9:55 PM EST on November 27, 2009
... Freeze warning remains in effect from 1 am to 8 am EST
Saturday...
Temperatures across the area will dip to around 32 degrees around
daybreak Saturday. The coldest temperatures will be observed in
low-lying and sheltered areas... and may be accompanied by frost.
Several hours of near-freezing temperatures will be possible in
these areas.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions can kill sensitive vegetation
unless protective actions are taken. Outside livestock or pets
may also be sensitive to these low temperatures and may need
tended to prior to the onset of these low temperatures.
