Statement as of 9:21 PM EST on December 15, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the lower Santee river near Jamestown. * Until further notice. * At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.8 feet. * Flood stage is 10 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring. * Forecast... rise to 14.5 feet Saturday morning. * At 14.2 feet... extensive flooding of swamplands may be expected. Logging operations and cattle grazing should be moved to higher ground. The river is approximately 9000 feet wide at this level.
