... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning...
A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning.
Widespread dense fog will continue to impact much of southeast
South Carolina and southeast Georgia this morning under clear
skies and fairly light winds. Visibilities of 1/4 mile or less
can be expected with visibilities occasionally dropping to near
zero at times... mainly near low lying areas such as large
ditches... marshes and rivers. Visibilities will begin to improve
after sunrise.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead
of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
