    Wind Advisory
    Sponsored by State Farm

Statement as of 5:09 PM EDT on May 11, 2008

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 am EDT Monday...

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 am EDT Monday for
    coastal South Carolina.

Winds along coastal South Carolina will increase during the
evening and become west after a cold front pushes through. West
winds of 25 to 35 mph are expected from this evening through
early Monday morning. Gusts as high as 45 mph will be possible...
especially on elevated bridges. The strongest winds will taper
off late tonight but windy conditions should continue into
    Monday.

Motorists... especially those driving vans... campers... trailers
and other high profile vehicles... should exercise caution while
driving in the Wind Advisory area. Be alert for sudden gusts of
wind which may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Be
especially cautious when driving over taller bridges as winds
will be stronger than at ground level.
