	Lake Wind Advisory
Statement as of 9:03 AM EST on November 11, 2009 ... Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 11 PM EST Thursday for Lake Moultrie... The lake Wind Advisory is now in effect until 11 PM EST Thursday. A strengthening low pressure system shifting up the southeast coast will create gusty winds on Lake Moultrie today through Thursday. North winds of 20 to 25 knots with higher gusts are expected today through Thursday with waves of around 2 feet on the open waters. The most dangerous conditions will occur on the southern and eastern portions of the lake. Conditions will improve by late Thursday night. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Mariners should use extra caution on Lake Moultrie... especially on the Open Lake waters. Strong winds may lead to large waves which can capsize boats.
