Strong high pressure will build into the region from the north today... creating strong northeast winds on Lake Moultrie. Northeast winds of 20 knots are expected through this evening before tapering off. Gusts to 25 knots are possible during the daytime. Waves as high as 1 to 2 feet can be expected... mainly across the central and southwestern portions of the lake.
