Through 9 PM...scattered showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorm will continue to move southwest through southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia. Isolated rain totals of around 1/4 inch in an hours time can be expected. Greater amounts are possible along the coast after 8 PM...as a line of heavier showers moves onshore.

Strong high pressure will build into the region from the north through Sunday. This high pressure will create strong northeast winds over Lake Moultrie... with winds tonight around 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Northeast flow will increase to around 20 knots with frequent gusts to 25 knots Sunday.
These strong winds will produce waves of at least 1 to 2 feet on the Open Lake.
