	Flood Warning
Statement as of 11:38 AM EST on December 26, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the lower Santee river near Jamestown. * At 10 am Saturday the stage was 15.3 feet. * Flood stage is 10.0 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring. * Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 16.9 feet by Friday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter. * At 14.2 feet... extensive flooding of swamplands may be expected. Logging operations and cattle grazing should be moved to higher ground. River is approximately 9000 feet wide.
