Moderate to localized heavy shower activity and thunderstorms are affecting parts of Santa Isabel and the rest of the coastal municipalities from Ponce westward to Cabo Rojo. These showers and thunderstorms can cause some sort of streets and underpasses flooding as well over low lying and poor drainage areas and urban localities. Over the past hour... estimated rainfall radar amounts ranged from half to an inch over some of the affected areas.
Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the advisory area.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
