in Puerto Rico Canovanas... Carolina... San Juan... Loiza and Rio Grande

* at 722 am AST Doppler radar estimated heavy rain moving across the advisory area. Flooding of urban areas and poor drainage areas have already been reported. Any additional rainfall will cause rivers and small streams to react quickly.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.

in Puerto Rico Bayamon... Caguas... Cidra... Comerio... Aguas Buenas... Gurabo... Naranjito... San Lorenzo... Trujillo Alto... Guaynabo and San Juan
* until 830 am AST
* at 526 am AST Doppler radar estimated very heavy rain moving west across the advisory area.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the advisory areas... and this will cause quick rises in river and streams... as well as flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas.
