Statement as of 8:31 PM EST on December 02, 2009 ... Potential for gusty winds overnight... As a cold front passes through late tonight... gusty winds could return again. Winds may gust as high as 40 mph after midnight... especially in areas of higher terrain. In addition... the gusty winds will be accompanied by another band of rain showers. There is also the possibility that there could be an isolated thunderstorm along with the showers. Be sure to secure light weight objects that are outside... and be cautious if driving late tonight. Winds are expected to subside around sunrise on Thursday morning. Although temperatures will remain steady or slightly increase tonight... falling temperatures can be expected on Thursday.
