Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 8:15 AM EST on December 25, 2009
An area of freezing rain will continue to rapidly spread northeast over the area through late morning. With temperatures below freezing... any untreated roads and walkaways will quickly become ice covered and very dangerous.
While ice accretions are expected to stay on the light side... it only takes a small amount of freezing rain to glaze surfaces and make conditions extremely slippery and dangerous. If you need to travel this morning you should allow extra time and use extra caution.
