Schuylkill County... Northumberland County... Columbia County... eastern Union County... * until 430 am EDT Sunday... * at 1027 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar estimates and rain gage reports indicated very heavy rain of 2 to 3 inches from numerous training thunderstorms that have occurred through this evening across Columbia... eastern Union... Montour... northeastern Snyder... Northumberland and Schuylkill counties. Additional thunderstorms will bring another 1 to 1.5 inches of rain to portions of the warned area overnight. * Locations in the warning include but are not limited to Danville... Selinsgrove... Ashland... Frackville... Mahanoy City... Minersville... Pottsville... Schuylkill Haven... Shenandoah... St. Clair... Tamaqua... Kulpmont... Milton... Mount Carmel... Northumberland... Shamokin... Sunbury... Bloomsburg... Lewisburg and Mifflinburg. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Schuylkill County... east central Northumberland County... southern Columbia County... * until 1230 am EDT... * at 925 PM EDT Doppler radar indicated heavy rain was falling due to a large area of showers and embedded thunderstorms. Multi sensor... Doppler radar and rain gages estimates that around 1.5 inches of rain has fallen in the last few hours across the advisory area. Expect minor flooding of roadways and poor drainage areas in towns... along with some small streams to begin shortly. * Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Danville... Ashland... Frackville... Gilberton... Gordon... Mahanoy City... Middleport... Minersville... Pottsville... Ringtown... Shenandoah... St. Clair... Tamaqua... Kulpmont... Mount Carmel... Shamokin...
