... A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move into the
area after 3 PM...
Thunderstorms in western New York ahead of a cold front are moving
east into central New York and northeast Pennsylvania. The line
is expected to move into the area mostly after 3 PM. Thunderstorms
could have damaging winds and large hail... as well as frequent
lightning and heavy rain. Rainfall amounts will be mainly under an
inch... but some locations could get 1 to 3 inches. This could
cause flash flooding of urban areas and small streams and creeks.
Thunderstorms and showers will last for around 2 hours.
