Statement as of 11:37 PM EST on December 15, 2009 ... Snow showers tonight may bring slick roads... Scattered snow showers tonight combined with below freezing temperatures can cause slippery driving conditions on untreated roads. Bridges and elevated highways will freeze before other Road surfaces. Motorists should exercise caution and be alert for slippery roads. Snow showers will be most widespread across northwest Pennsylvania and east into the higher elevations of the ridges. Snow may accumulate around an Inch Lake effect snow bands persist... especially in the north. Most areas will see only a quick coating of snow... but just a thin coasting of snow can make roads icy. |
