Special Statement
Statement as of 7:45 PM EDT on March 30, 2015

... Late season elevation dependent snowfall over central and
north central Pennsylvania Tuesday...

An Alberta clipper will spread snow into central and north central
Pennsylvania on Tuesday... beginning by dawn Tuesday morning across
the northwest and west central mountains and spreading eastward
through the morning commute.

As is typical with Spring snowfalls... accumulations will be
elevation dependent... with higher elevations and especially north
facing slopes of the west central and central mountains likely to
see 3 to 5 inches of snow. Valleys and the rest of central and north
central Pennsylvania are likely to see between one and three inches
of accumulation due to melting.

A Winter Weather Advisory for these amounts is not in effect at this
time... as advisory criteria requires County wide averages of 3
inches or more. Forecast snow amounts will be further fine tuned
overnight... and an advisory may be issued if confidence in higher
amounts increases for more highly populated valley locations.

Be prepared for winter driving conditions from Tuesday morning
through early afternoon across central and north central
Pennsylvania... with slush or snow covered roads likely in many
areas... especially over higher elevations.
