* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
tonight.
* Impact... at 33.0 feet... flooding is widspread in Fayette City

* Until this afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 4:45 am Thursday the stage was 21.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
this morning.
* Impact... at 21.0 feet... The Lock at Grays Landing lock and dam GOES
out of service, and navigation is suspended.

* At 4:15 am Thursday the stage was 26.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early this morning.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... basement flooding begins in some homes and
businesses in Point Marion.

* Flood Warning for...
Allegheny County in southwest Pennsylvania...
Greene County in southwest Pennsylvania...
Washington County in southwest Pennsylvania...
Fayette County in southwest Pennsylvania...
Westmoreland County in southwest Pennsylvania...

* until 830 PM EST Thursday

* flooding will continue to impact areas along the Monongahela river
until at least late this afternoon.

* Locations from West Mifflin in Allegheny County south to the PA/WV
border will continue to be impacted by river flooding. This includes
but is not limited to the communities of West Mifflin... Dravosburg...
Glassport... West Elizabeth... Elrama... Monongahela... Coal Center...
California... Charleroi... and south beyond Brownsville.

* Numerous reports of flooding and Road closures along the river
have already been received and flooding is expected to continue
until river levels begin to decrease late this afternoon.

* This warning is a supplement to the river Flood Warning already
in effect for river forecast points along the Monongahela river to
include additional areas.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
