Freezing Rain Advisory
Statement as of 6:20 PM EST on December 22, 2014

...Freezing Rain Advisory now in effect until 1 am EST Tuesday...

* locations...much of central Pennsylvania.

* Hazard types...freezing rain and drizzle.

* Ice accumulations...a trace in the valleys to less than a tenth of an inch on the ridges.

* Timing...patchy light freezing rain and drizzle will continue to spread to the north this evening. Temperatures will be warming gradually through the night...and will end the threat of freezing rain or drizzle around midnight in most places. Areas of drizzle will then continue for the rest of the night.

* Impacts...elevated and untreated roads and walkways will become slippery...making travel hazardous.

* Winds...southeast at less than 10 mph.

* Temperatures...30 to 32.
