... Record coldest February in Williamsport PA...
This was the coldest February on record in Williamsport PA. The
monthly mean temperature was 18.1 degrees... which breaks the
previous February record of 19.3 set back in 1934.
This was also the third coldest calendar month on record... behind
the januarys of 1977 (14.9 degrees) and 1918 (16.5 degrees).
A continuous weather record has been kept at Williamsport since 1895.
