Statement as of 10:39 PM EST on January 31, 2015

...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 9 am Sunday to 1 PM EST Monday...

* locations...the northern mountains of Pennsylvania.

* Hazard types...heavy snow and some freezing rain.

* Snow accumulations...8 to 12 inches.

* Ice accumulations...a coating possible.

* Timing...snow will begin Sunday morning and continue through Monday afternoon. A period of freezing rain or sleet is possible Monday morning.

* Period of heaviest snow...Sunday evening and all of Sunday night.

* Impacts...hazardous travel due to snow covered roads.

* Winds...light easterly...then turning to the north and increasing to around 10 mph with higher gusts on Monday.
