Hot and dry weather will come to an end early this weekend. A
series of incoming fronts will bring significant precipitation to
the southern Oregon coast beginning Friday and continuing into
Sunday. Initially the rain will be light... but moderate to heavy
rain is expected Friday night into early Saturday morning. Rain
totals will range from 0.50 to 1.00 inches along the coast with 1
to 2 inches possible in the Coast Range. It will be cool and
showery Saturday and Sunday with lighter rain amounts... generally
less than 0.25 inches.
