... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM PST this
evening...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM PST this
evening.

* Snow accumulations: storm total of 4 to 8 inches above 4500
feet. Higher peaks and ridges could receive 10 to 12 inches.

* Timing: now through tonight. Heaviest snowfall is expected this
morning.

* Locations include: elevations at and above 4500 feet in the
Cascades and Siskiyous... including Mt Ashland ski Road...
Highway 140 near Lake of The Woods... dead Indian Memorial
Road... and highways 62... 230... and 138 near Crater Lake and
Diamond Lake.

* Impacts: roads will become snow packed and slippery. Falling

travel on area roads.

* View the hazard area in detail at http://go.USA.Gov/zyv5

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
