... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 8 am this morning to 3 PM
PDT this afternoon for the northern Willamette and lower Columbia River
valley...

* winds: south winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts 35 to 50 mph.

* Timing: 8 am to 3 PM Saturday... strongest between 8 am and
noon.

* Locations include: Hillsboro... Portland... Oregon City...
Gresham... St. Helens... Vancouver... Battle Ground...
Washougal... Longview... Kelso.

* Impacts: with a full set of leaves on trees... these winds
could cause tree damage and local power disruptions. These
winds could cause problems for outdoor events... especially
those with temporary outdoor facilities such as tents and
canopies.
