Special Statement
Statement as of 4:33 AM PDT on April 01, 2015

... Snow showers continue through this evening in the Cascades...

A cool Pacific weather system continues to bring unsettled weather
to southwest Washington and northwest Oregon. Several inches of
new snow fell in the Cascades yesterday... and more snow is
expected through this evening.

Additional snow accumulations will likely range from 3 to 6 inches
in the Cascades of southern Washington and northern Oregon... with
somewhat less snow expected for the Lane County Cascades.

Travelers planning to drive across the Cascades should carry
chains and be prepared for winter driving conditions.
