... Sharp change to colder weather at midweek...

A potent Spring cold front will move across the area Monday night
into Tuesday. Mild weather Monday will give way to a much colder
air mass Tuesday. Away from the coast... high temperatures Tuesday
will be 15-25 degrees lower than they are on Monday. The front
will bring a period of light to moderate precipitation Monday
night, followed by showery weather with isolated thunderstorms
Tuesday and Wednesday. The air mass will be cold enough that some
of the heavier showers may contain small hail or graupel. Snow
levels may reach down as low as 3000 feet Tuesday night into
Wednesday. Those intending to travel... have outdoor plans... or
have sensitive outdoor plants... should stay tuned for additional
updates regarding this sharp change to colder weather at midweek.
