This storm is due to Pyro cloud from a wildfire 11 miles east of Canyonville. Multiple lightning strikes have been observed with this thunderstorm. Gusty and erractic winds may also occur near this storm. Locations impacted include... Tiller and three c rock campground.

Haines index of 6 over the Cable Crossing wildfire in Oregon fire
weather zone 616... ...

* Haines index: 6 (high).

* Impacts: very dry and unstable conditions will support extreme
fire behavior. Plume domination is possible with locally-
generated erratic and gusty winds. Spotting could be a problem.

* Affected area: in and around the Cable Crossing fire and the
Stouts fire in fire weather zone 616.

* Counties affected: north central Douglas County.

* Humidity: minimum of 10-15 percent.

Wildfire crews should prepare for the potential of plume dominated
fire Thursday afternoon.
