Special Statement
Statement as of 4:33 AM PDT on April 01, 2015

... Isolated thunderstorms... small hail... and locally heavy rain
possible again today...

An unsettled weather pattern will once again bring the potential
for a few heavy rain and small hail showers to develop across
southwest Washington and northwest Oregon today. The cool and
unstable environment may also allow some isolated thunderstorms
to develop this afternoon and evening.

Heavier showers yesterday produced localized issues with ponding
of water on roadways... as well as some localized accumulation of
small hail. Similar issues will probably occur today... but again
they will be fairly localized to stronger showers.

While most locations will just experience occasional showers...
drivers should be aware of the potential for rapidly changing
conditions especially this afternoon. Ponding of water in heavier
showers may cause fast moving vehicles to hydroplane. Small hail
may briefly accumulate on roadways... making roadways locally
slick.
