* Timing: lowest visibilities to persist this morning before improving in the early afternoon.

* Impacts: low visibilities will make travel difficult. Motorists should slow down and be prepared for sudden visibility changes. A few place around the Yakima Valley remain near or below freezing and roads there may be slick due to thin deposits of ice from the fog.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
