regional weather discussion... scattered light showers will move slowly to the southeast from Kansas and affect portions of far northwest Oklahoma. The areas that may be affected extend near and north of LaVerne...Buffalo... Freedom...and Waynoka. Rainfall amounts will be relatively light... with amounts less than one-tenth of an inch. By 10 am...most...if not all of the rain should dissipate. Elsewhere...light winds and partly cloudy skies will be the rule for most of the day. It will be warmer than yesterday...but still near or below averages for early July.
