The most likely area to be affected by sprinkles or very light rain would be north of a line from Woodward to Alva Oklahoma. This activity will likely produce more wind than rain as it continues to diminish... with some wind gusts to 30 mph possible. Additional showers are developing across southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. This activity may build west into portions of north central and central Oklahoma. If this occurs... rainfall will be light.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Fire Weather Watch... which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
Temperatures will rise quickly Saturday morning and are forecast to rise above 100 by late in the morning... topping out in the 105 to 110 range. These temperatures along with relative humidities dropping below 20 percent... dry vegetation and the possibility of gusty southwest winds will have the potential to create favorable conditions for the start and spread of wildfires on Saturday.
