regional weather discussion... showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and move across approximately the southern half of Oklahoma and western North Texas through 1 am. Most of the showers and thunderstorms will affect locations along and south of Interstate 40 into North Texas through the overnight hours. The storms are generally moving east at 10 to 25 mph. Some of the storms may become strong producing small hail and gusty winds. However... all of the storms will likely produce frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue into the early morning hours across portions of Oklahoma and western North Texas. However... the best chance will gradually shift with a cold front as it moves south across the region.
