... Flood Warning extended until Tuesday afternoon...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Cimarron river near Guthrie.

* Until Tuesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 11:30 am Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Cimarron river will rise above flood stage early
Sunday afternoon and crest near 20.9 feet early Monday morning.The
Cimarron river will fall below flood stage mid Tuesday morning.

* Impact... at 21.0 feet... rural areas may overflow to depths
averaging about 2 feet... in Logan and Payne counties. U.S. Highway
77 north of Guthrie is impassable when the stage reaches 14 feet.
Low-lying fields and oil Wells may be flooded or isolated several
hours before the crest... by flow in cutoff channels crossing the
flood plain.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Cimarron river near Ripley.

* Until Wednesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:00 am Sunday the stage was 18.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Cimarron river will continue rising to near 21.8
feet early Monday afternoon. The Cimarron river will fall below
flood stage late Wednesday morning.

* Impact... at 22.0 feet... the Cimarron River Valley in Payne County
is covered by flood depths averaging 5 feet... with very hazardous
currents. Agricultural lands... oil Wells... and water Wells
located near the river banks are inundated... from many hours
before to many hours after the crest passes Ripley.

southwest Oklahoma and western Oklahoma... including the
following areas... in central Oklahoma... Canadian... Cleveland...
   Grady... Kingfisher... Logan... McClain... Oklahoma and Payne. In
northern Oklahoma... Garfield... Kay and Noble. In northwest
Oklahoma... Blaine. In southern Oklahoma... Stephens. In
southwest Oklahoma... Caddo... Comanche... Cotton and Kiowa. In
western Oklahoma... Custer and Washita.

* Through Monday morning

* rainfall will redevelop with an additional 1 to 2 inches of
rainfall is possible through Monday morning. This rainfall in
addition to the heavy rainfall of recent days will create the
potential of additional flash flooding.
