At 6:25 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated a wintry mix of light freezing drizzle...light freezing rain and sleet falling over eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Some light rain was also indicated over parts of far southeast Oklahoma where the temperatures has warm to 32 degrees. All of the precipitation was moving off to the northeast at around 40 mph. Through 8:30 PM...areas of light freezing drizzle...light freezing rain and light sleet will remain common for most of the forecast area. Some light rain will be possible for far southeast Oklahoma at times. Many area roadways remain slick and hazardous...as such...any travel around eastern Oklahoma or northwest Arkansas is discouraged. If you must venture out this evening...drive carefully...and allow extra time to reach your destination. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas until 6 am CST Sunday.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for light snow... freezing rain and freezing drizzle...
which is in effect until 6 am CST Sunday...

For the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Rogers... Mayes... Pawnee... Ottawa... Washington...
   Osage... Craig and Nowata.

* Areas of light snow this afternoon will transition to light freezing
   drizzle this evening with scattered areas of light freezing
   rain possible into the overnight hours.

Hazardous weather...
* additional snow accumulations around an inch will be possible
   with a light ice glaze of a few hundredths likely.

* roads in the advisory remain slick and hazardous... especially
   on bridges and overpasses and non-treated surfaces.
