The heavier rains were located across far southeast Oklahoma. Scattered showers was also noted further north into northeast Oklahoma. Movement is north northeast at 30 mph. Through 6:30 am...occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue for locations along and south of Interstate 40. Further north...scattered showers will continue to develop across northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas. Thunderstorm activity will be limited primarily to extreme southeast Oklahoma. Through 7am...temperatures are forecast to remain above freezing for all areas.

Rain...snow and sleet until late afternoon...then snow late in the afternoon. Windy. Snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Highs in the mid 30s. North winds 20 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph increasing to 45 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Occasional snow in the evening...then snow likely after midnight. Windy. Snow accumulation around 1 inch. Total snow accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Lows around 18. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Chance of snow 80 percent. Wind chill readings 5 to 10.

Hazardous weather... * rain will change over to sleet and then snow late this morning into early this afternoon. The heaviest snow will take place this afternoon and evening. Also of concern will be northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph. This will cause near blizzard conditions during the height of the storm.
* 3 to 4 inches of snow accumulation is expected until 6 am CST Friday.
