At 9:15 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect areas of light snow moving across all of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Light snow was also being observed at several observation sites. All this activity was spreading toward the northeast...around 25 miles per hour. Through 11:00 am...periods of light snow will continue to spread across the forecast area. Snowfall amounts of a trace...up to an inch per hour will be possible. With the snow that already fell yesterday...this could increase snow depth amounts to over 6 inches in some locations. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the area.

   McIntosh... Muskogee... Le Flore... Latimer and Haskell. In
   Arkansas... Washington... Madison... Crawford... Sebastian and
   Franklin.

Hazardous weather...
* light to moderate snow will continue to spread across northeast
   Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas into the evening hours. Across
   southeast Oklahoma... light snow is expected to mix with or
   change over to light sleet and or light freezing rain this
   afternoon.

* 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected... mainly across northeast
   Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. A thin coating of ice will
   likely develop across parts of southeast Oklahoma that see the
   changeover to light freezing rain.

   especially on bridges and overpasses and non-treated surfaces.
