Heat Advisory
Statement as of 2:53 PM CDT on July 11, 2009
... Heat advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CDT Monday...
A heat advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CDT Monday.
A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. Hot temperatures and high humidities will combine to
create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink
plenty of water... stay in an air-conditioned room... stay out of
the sun... and check up on relatives and neighbors. You should
also make sure that pets and livestock have access to fresh
water.
