Statement as of 6:10 AM CDT on May 06, 2015

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Little River near Tecumseh.

* Until this evening... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 5:30 am Wednesday the stage was 14.8 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Little River will continue rising to near 16.6 feet
mid Wednesday morning. The Little River will fall below flood stage
early Wednesday afternoon.

* Impact... at 17 feet... significant flooding to depths of 6 feet
damages croplands... pastures... and rural roads along the river
downstream of the U.S. Highway 177 bridge crossing... with lesser
damage occurring upstream of U.S. Highway 177. The area affected is
entirely rural... and downstream of Lake Thunderbird... from near
Macomb in Pottawatomie County to near Bowlegs in western Seminole
County.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Seminole County in east central Oklahoma...
northwestern Hughes County in southeastern Oklahoma...
Pottawatomie County in central Oklahoma...

* until 630 am CDT

* at 331 am CDT... National Weather Service radar indicated heavy
rain that will cause some flooding of poor drainage areas and
small streams. 1 to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen and 1 inch
of additional rain is likely through 430 am.

* Some locations that will experience minor flooding include
Shawnee... Seminole... Tecumseh... Wewoka... Maud... Earlsboro...
Asher... Wanette... Bowlegs... Tribbey... Cromwell... Johnson... St.
Louis... Brooksville... Macomb... little and Dale.
