The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning for much of west central and southwestern Oklahoma.
Fog will reduce visibility to 1/4 mile or less through mid morning in many parts of western Oklahoma... including much of Interstate 40 west of the Oklahoma City area.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
