regional weather discussion... scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to move across portions of north central and central Oklahoma through 11 am. At 945 am... a large area of showers and thunderstorms continued across much of southeastern Kansas... and northeast Oklahoma... with scattered showers and thunderstorms extending into parts of north central and central Oklahoma. The showers and thunderstorms were moving toward the east at about 30 mph. The rain will mainly affect areas northeast of a line from Blackwell and Perry... to Shawnee Oklahoma. The area of showers and storms will continue to gradually shift into eastern Oklahoma this morning. Showers and thunderstorms will remain possible this afternoon from around the Interstate 40 corridor and areas north.
