At 9:12 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars
detected a few scattered light rain showers affecting portions of far
northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas...as well as an
area of showers and thunderstorms moving into southeast
Oklahoma from northeast Texas. All this activity was moving toward
the northeast...around 25 miles per hour. Through 11:00
am...scattered light rain showers will continue to spread northeast
across northeastern Oklahoma...and into northwestern Arkansas.
Rainfall amounts will be light...with between a trace...to a
few hundredths of an inch expected. A second area of stronger
showers and thunderstorms will move into southeast
Oklahoma...bringing moderate to heavy rainfall...along with lightning and
thunder. Small hail and gusty winds will also be possible.
