At 5:53 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms lifting northeast at around 30 miles per hour through eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The activity was generally occurring along and to the east of an Ada to Bristow to Bartlesville line. Through 7 PM...occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms will remain possible for the majority of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The greatest coverage will be across southeast Oklahoma as well as most of northwest and west-central Arkansas. Average hourly rainfall amounts of up to one tenth of an inch will be common with locally higher amounts to one half inch possible with the more intense showers and where thunderstorms occur.
