A weak stationary frontal boundary draped across the western Oklahoma Panhandle will continue to produce scattered showers and a few thunderstorms through the remainder of this evening. These showers will primarily form along a line from Clayton...to Boise City...to Elkhart. The primary threats with these showers will be heavy rainfall and occasional lightning strikes. Rainfall rates may approach one inch per hour within the heavier showers. The shower activity is expected to continue through sunset before gradually diminishing with the loss of daytime heating.
