Nowcast | as of 7:00 am CST on March 4, 2015

At 6:55 am... National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated areas of light rain spreading across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The rain has been increasing in both coverage and intensity during the past hour. Temperatures had dropped to 32 degrees or less... roughly along and north of I 44... so some light freezing rain is likely occurring in those locations. Some light sleet was also mixed in with the rain over parts of northwest Arkansas. Through 9:30 am...areas of light rain will continue to expand in coverage across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. An increase in intensity of rain will occur across southeast Oklahoma as well. A powerful cold front sweeping toward the southeast is expected to cause light rain to continue to transition over to freezing rain along and north of Interstate 44. This includes much of the Tulsa Metro area... as temperatures fall below 32 degrees.
