At 4:19 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect a line of showers and thunderstorms pushing across far eastern Oklahoma...and western Arkansas. The line extended from near Bentonville in Benton County...south toward Big Cedar in Le Flore County. The stronger section of the line extended from near mountain top city...to Big Cedar. All this activity was moving toward the east...around 40 miles per hour. Through 6:00 PM...the line of showers and thunderstorms will continue to push east across far eastern Oklahoma...and western Arkansas. These showers and storms will impact locations along and east of a Bentonville...to Whitesboro line. The stronger storms will likely remain across far southeast Oklahoma...and western Arkansas. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds. Frequent lightning and very heavy rainfall will also be likely.
