regional weather discussion... rain will continue through 7 am over most of western North Texas and western... central... and northern Oklahoma. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible. At 445 am... radar indicated a large area of rain covering most of northwestern Texas and expanding northeastward across most of the northwestern two thirds of Oklahoma. Pockets of heavier rain were scattered throughout the larger area... and were producing hourly rainfall rates up to a half inch. All of the rain areas were moving north at around 25 mph. The rain was occurring to the north and northwest of a stationary front from near Ardmore northeastward to between Seminole and Holdenville. The front will likely not move much overnight... but now is forecast to begin drifting back to the northwest as a warm front after daybreak. Temperatures through daybreak will remain in the upper 40s and 50s to the northwest of the front... and will remain in the upper 60s southeast of the front.
