The Flood Warning continues for
the Blue River near blue.

* Until Tuesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 1:30 PM Sunday the stage was 34.0 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Blue River will continue rising and crest near 40.0
feet early Monday morning. The Blue River will fall below flood
stage early Tuesday morning.

* Impact... at 40.0 feet... flooding covers much of the River Valley...
from northwest to southeast Bryan County... near the confluence
with the Red River. Upstream in southeastern Johnston County...
overflows begin many hours before the crest reaches the gage site
near blue. Downstream near wade... flooding may remain for days.
Croplands and rural roads are affected. Significant flooding will
not reach the town of Armstrong. U.S. Highway 75 north and U.S.
Highway 70 east of Durant remain open... along with other local
highways.

The Flood Warning continues for
the clear Boggy Creek near Caney.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 1:00 PM Sunday the stage was 25.4 feet.

* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* Forecast... the clear Boggy Creek will continue rising and crest
near 25.9 feet Sunday evening then begin falling.

* Impact... at 26.0 feet... creek levels rise to seven feet higher than
flood stage... spreading over most of the bottomlands in western
Atoka County... and the northeastern edge of Bryan County.
Agricultural lands are inundated for many hours... and machinery
and other property are cut off from access. Many rural roads become
impassable. Downstream in Choctaw County... U.S. Highway 70 is
overtopped several hours after the crest passes the Caney river
gage site.

southeastern Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma...
Bryan County in southeastern Oklahoma...
southwestern Atoka County in southeastern Oklahoma...
Marshall County in southeastern Oklahoma...

* until 700 PM CDT

* at 105 PM CDT... flooding was occurring from heavy rainfall last
night. Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon... which will further exacerbate the flooding this
afternoon.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Durant... Madill... Calera... Kingston... Colbert... Caddo... Oakland...
Bokchito... Achille... Bennington... silo... Kenefic... Kemp...
Armstrong... Mead... Hendrix... Woodville... Nida... Albany... blue...
Utica... Willis... Little City... McBride... wade and Cartwright.

Up to an additional one inch of rainfall is possible in the warned
area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been
reported. Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not
expected. However... all interested parties should take necessary
precautions immediately.
