... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from midnight
tonight to 9 am CST Friday...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and dangerous wind chills remains
in effect from midnight tonight to 9 am CST Friday.
* Event... snow totals of up to three inches are expected across the
Oklahoma and Texas panhandles with locally higher amounts up to
five inches possible. In addition... dangerous wind chill values as
low as 10 degrees below zero will be possible across the
* Timing... snow could start early tomorrow morning across the
western Oklahoma and northwest Texas panhandles before
spreading across the panhandles tomorrow. Snow should come to
an end late tomorrow night. The lowest wind chill values will
occur during the overnight and morning hours tonight through
* Impacts... the snow could create hazardous driving conditions.
Wind chill and dangerous cold will result in frost bite and
hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
