...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 PM Friday to 6 PM CST Saturday...

A Winter Weather Advisory for a wintry mix of light sleet and light snow remains in effect from 3 PM Friday to 6 PM CST Saturday.

* Event...a mix of light rain...sleet and light snow will impact the western sections of the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. Total snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible...especially across the far western sections near the Texas and New Mexico state line.

* Timing...a light rain...sleet...and light snow mix will begin Friday afternoon in the higher elevations along the Texas and New Mexico state line. As temperatures fall Friday night...this light wintry mix will move eastward into the western third of the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles.

* Impacts...roads may become slick and hazardous in areas where the light wintry mix occurs.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
