Statement as of 2:00 PM EST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 am Sunday to 7 am EST
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 4 am Sunday
to 7 am EST Monday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 6 inches... locally higher near and
south of a line from Millersburg to Corry

* timing... snow is expected to spread into the area late tonight
and then continue into Sunday night.

* Period of most intense snow... shortly after sunrise to early
afternoon with another increase of snow rates possible during
the evening.

* Snow ending... gradually end from west to east Sunday night.

* Impacts... snow will be the main threat during this event.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected due to reduced
visibility from the snow and snow accumulation.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions including light snow, blowing snow,
sleet, freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be
significant, the word advisory implies that severe winter weather
is not anticipated. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio for further
details or updates.
