... Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 7 am to 1 PM EST
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Freezing
Rain Advisory... which is in effect from 7 am to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* Hazard types... light ice accumulation.

* Accumulations... ice accumulations from a trace to five
hundredths of an inch.

* Timing... areas of light freezing rain will spread across the
area during the morning hours... changing to rain by noon.

* Impacts... light amounts of icing will cause some roads and
sidewalks to become slippery. Use caution when outdoors as areas
that look wet may be icy. If you must drive... be cautious as you
may encounter ice on roads.

* Temperatures... rising from the 20s around sunrise into the lower
and mid 30s by noon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.

* Flood Watch for portions of southeast Indiana... Kentucky and
Ohio... including the following areas... in southeast Indiana...
Ohio and Switzerland. In Kentucky... Boone... Bracken...
Campbell... Carroll... Gallatin... Grant... Kenton... Lewis...
Mason... Owen... Pendleton and Robertson. In Ohio... Adams...
Brown... Clermont... Clinton... Fairfield... Fayette OH...
Hamilton... Highland... Hocking... Pickaway... Pike... Ross...
Scioto and Warren.

* From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon

* moderate to heavy rain will develop across the Flood Watch area
by Tuesday evening. One to two inches of rain is likely across
the watch area before rain changes to snow through the day on
Wednesday. With plenty of snow on the ground and frozen
soils... runoff from the rainfall could be significant and lead
to widespread flooding of poorly drained areas... low lying
areas... small creeks and streams... and some rivers.
