Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 4:14 AM EST on November 24, 2009
... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am EST this morning...
The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 9 am EST this morning.
Areas of dense fog will persist across the area through the early
morning hours. Visibilities will be reduced to below a quarter of
a mile at times. Visibilities will gradually improve from south to
north later this morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory is issued when dense fog will substantially
reduce visibilities, resulting in hazardous driving conditions in
some areas. Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down,
as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
